IN THE OFFICE
Caring for teeth is in my genes! My grandfather was a dentist, and he was my inspiration to go into the field of dentistry. My family has four generations of dentists, including uncles and cousins! Orthodontics is my passion as well as my profession, and I am always striving to become better at what I do. I enjoy seeing the transformation of my patients’ smiles during their treatment. When that treatment is complete, they leave smiling and full of self-confidence.
I have been practicing orthodontics since 1983, and have always held individualized treatment as my priority. I want to get to know each patient in order to cater to their specific needs and expectations. I also enjoy the personal friendships that I build with my patients and their families!
I have the pleasure of working with a phenomenal and experienced team, who I am also proud to say are my friends. We all enjoy working together, which makes for a relaxed and pleasant experience for our patients.
FAMILY LIFE
I was born and raised in Baraboo, and am glad to be treating the patients and families of this area and the surrounding communities. My wife, Judy, and I have lived here for over 25 years, and are proud to have raised our family here. We have three sons: Mitch, his wife Naomi, and our grandchildren Ava, Noah and Leah; Adam; and Joel. In my spare time, I love to scuba dive, attend sporting events, exercise, and travel. I have a dog that I love to take for walks and a cat who keeps my family entertained. Most of all, though, I love spending time with my wonderful family and friends!
Being an active member of our community is important to me. That is why I am a member of Temple Beth El in Madison, the Sauk County Humane Society, as well as the Baraboo and Mauston Chambers of Commerce. I was also the president of the University of Wisconsin Baraboo/Sauk County Campus Foundation for 20 years.
