DR. DANI MEIRICK-IMERMAN

I am thrilled to join Dr. Paschen and his team in providing orthodontic care in the Baraboo area.  My passion for dentistry evolved primarily from my own need for orthodontic treatment, and I have come full circle in my ability to provide these services for others through Paschen Orthodontics.

I studied at Luther College (Decorah, IA), where I also ran track and played soccer. I then attended the University of Iowa College of Dentistry for my dental credentialing.  A Hawkeye turned Badger, I practiced in downtown Madison for four years prior to joining Dental Associates of Baraboo and Paschen Orthodontics in 2020.

I am honored to be recognized by my peers as a “Top Dentist” in the Madison area.

IN THE OFFICE:

Our oral health encompasses far more than just “cavity-free teeth”.  Many routine dental problems I have addressed as a general dentist are direct consequences of or are exacerbated by teeth being improperly positioned.  Further, malocclusion or an “improper bite” can limit our options when restoring teeth. It can affect the longevity of those restorations, and may even play a role in premature tooth loss.   It is clear to me that one of the biggest “preventive” services I can provide as a dentist is orthodontic treatment.  If the foundation of your house was poured in the wrong shape, would it bear the load of your house over a lifetime?  The same is true for the shape of your dental arch and the load we place on our teeth.

These observations in my general practice prompted a more focused pursuit of continuing education within the field of orthodontics.  I have received training in clear aligners and traditional braces using multiple different philosophies and continue to explore the best technologies and techniques to employ at Paschen Orthodontics.  I am fortunate to be mentored by and working alongside Dr. Paschen, who has dedicated the last 20 years of his practice exclusively to orthodontic treatment.  I look forward to working alongside him and our experienced team.

FAMILY:

My husband, Dr. Reid Imerman, and I have called Sauk County our home since 2020, though our staff have become like family since Reid began practicing at Dental Associates of Baraboo in 2016.  Baraboo’s small-town hospitality is reminiscent of our own hometowns in rural Iowa and the surrounding bluffs cater to our love for spending time in nature.  I am convinced you can find some of the best biking, hiking, and running in the Midwest just out our backdoor.  We welcomed our daughter, Isla, in 2020.  She has blessed me with so much— including a newfound appreciation for all mothers out there!  When I’m not in the office, you are likely to find me exploring the great outdoors, challenging my fitness, cooking up a new recipe, or wrapped around Isla’s little finger.
